In March 2020, smarterion ag founded a new subsidiary in the industrial area of Warsaw. This step is intended to further expand the market development in the EU area with special solutions. In addition, the sourcing of components and semi-finished products will be expanded, which will also benefit our customers in Switzerland.
As of March 25, 2020 smarterion ag currently has no substantial supply bottlenecks. To date, we have been faced with surcharges from suppliers. We currently refrain from passing these surcharges on to customers. We have created a pandamic plan for smarterion ag, which includes precautionary and behavioral measures as well as emergency scenarios, and we proactively monitor the situation on a daily basis. If the situation changes, we will inform you immediately. It is valuable for us if you inform us about changes in demand on the market or at your customers (cancellations and new orders) in order to be able to take appropriate measures promptly.
At the Swiss Lighting Forum on January 30, 2020 in Basel, smarterion ag showed some highlights as well as the new profiles 8080 and 10080. This year, 440 interested participants were there. The Swiss Light Forum has developed into a valuable platform that is equally valuable for participants and corporate partners. The main topics focused on Human Centric Lighting and on various current specialist topics on the subject of light in the interior and exterior as well as control topics.
Premier show, industry meeting point and business parquet: The Light + Building trade fair is the stage for current lighting trends and the driving force for intelligent building technology. From March 8 to 13, 2020, premieres and trends will be celebrated at the world’s leading trade fair in Frankfurt am Main. Smarterion ag is there for the first time with a stand at the world’s most important lighting trade fair and is looking forward to your visit in hall 4.2, stand A02.
The Swiss Association of the Lighting Industry (FVB) was founded in 1935 and is supported by the leading manufacturers of technical lights, components and light sources. It aims to protect the common interests of its member companies, establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, and promote the professional use of light in Switzerland. As a young company, smarterion ag is pleased to be a selected member of the FVB, because only companies that meet the high FVB standards in the areas of security, professionalism, service and sustainability are accepted into the association.
On January 30, the Swiss lighting scene will meet in Basel at the Swiss Lighting Forum 2020. The focus this year is on the use of human-centric lighting, lighting planning aspects indoors and outdoors, and the use of intelligent control systems. smarterion is there as a manufacturer and presents Swiss LED competence.
